Graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs — PSL in 2015, Cécile Maingot has worked as an independent graphic designer for over ten years, collaborating with designers, artists, galleries, cultural institutions and auction houses in France and internationally. In 2026, she completed the specialised postgraduate programme Architecture and Scenography at ENSA Paris-Belleville. As part of this programme, she conducted a research project entitled La part manquante (The missing part), exploring the role of architecture, scenography and the body in relation to heritage.
Her career has led her to develop publications, visual identities, wayfinding systems and digital platforms for organisations such as L’Ameublement français, Le French Design by VIA, Sotheby’s, Galerie Templon, Tina Kim Gallery and the École des Arts Décoratifs — PSL. More recently, she has contributed to scenographic projects, notably within the agency C-ALBUM for Notre-Dame de Paris and with the scenography studio IGRA. Working at the intersection of graphic design and scenography, Cécile pays particular attention to the construction of narratives and their visual and spatial translation.
